Jillian graduated with high honors from the University of Texas at Austin in 2018 with a Bachelor's Degree in Journalism coupled with a Global Business Foundations Certificate and a Concentration in Radio-Television-FIlm. She was named a Gateway Scholar in 2014, and her academic achievement placed her on the Dean's List each semester. Highlights of her studies include reporting on climate change along the Great Barrier Reef and working within television production as a part of the prestigious University of Texas at Los Angeles program. Jillian is a member of the Beta Alpha Chapter of Alpha Xi Delta, where she served as the 2016 Education Vice President and frequently participated in philanthropic fundraisers to support Autism Speaks, a philanthropy advocating autism awareness. She was also a member of Texas Order of Omega, a Greek honor society, as well as Gamma Beta Phi, an honor society recognizing students in the top ten percent of their respective school. Jillian became involved with Texas Student Television at the start of her freshman year and was an active reporter, host, and executive producer for the entertainment news show, Sneak Peek. She anchored, edited footage, updated social media platforms, wrote scripts, conducted sit down interviews, and worked red carpet events like South by Southwest Film Festival and Austin Film Festival.

Jillian is a 2014 graduate of St. Michael's Catholic Academy, a top-tier, private, Catholic college preparatory school in Austin, Texas with excellent academic programs leading to ideal college placement. She graduated with an advanced diploma and high honors, having received a 4.0 on a 4.0 scale and placing amongst the top ten of her graduating class. During her time at St. Michael's, Jillian served various leadership roles such as the president of the Altus Chapter of the National Honor Society, Varsity Cheerleading captain, Prom Committee President, and junior class leader for the Senior Leadership Team. She was an active member of both her school's yearbook and newspaper staff, which fostered her love for journalism and reporting. Jillian competed at the Texas Association of Private and Parochial Schools district level in the subjects of Spanish and Ready Writing. She continues to be a proud St. Michael's Crusader today as she watches her younger brother excel in the same classrooms as she did.
